Hey Webb, where did you get the pic. of the TR6. I thought you were going to be a side curtain man! Or did we scare you off with all the talk of rain leaks? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/canpatriot.GIF

Speaking of rain and a sidescreen. One of the things I loved about living in California when I had my '60 TR3 was that it hardly ever rained. In almost 2 years I only got caught once in the rain with no top. I did have my tonneau cover on partly and raced to get home. People gave me the weirdest looks! I got a feeling here in the east it's harder to not get wet. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hi Dave-- newbie also and Just bought a TR3 and glad I got it. The price was reasonable, no rust and I can do some of the repairs myself-- have already done major cleanup/fixup/tightening, etc and having fun. Having suspension and front brake work done professionally.

Haha. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif I'd still like to own a TR3 someday, but having one as a daily driver I think would be a bad idea, so I've "settled" for a TR6. In reality I'd gladly drive any Triumph ever made, and you wouldn't hear a complaint come from my mouth (at least as long as I don't have to pay for repairs! Right.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif)
