Hi all thank you for allowing me to join.
I’m looking to purchase a Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite.
‘I have been searching every site I know. I have found a few but two of them were frauds when I asks where they were located so I could come a see them I never heard from them again.
if any of you have knowledge of a nice one for sale I’d like to hear about it.
Thanks

welcome - and a great car to aspire to. You may want to consider connecting with area clubs - they have the expertise, the connections and often a more realistic sense of prices

+1 to JP, and you're likely to find someone in the club who has been thinking about selling but just hasn't put up an ad yet!

I believe that I have purchased more cars through word-of-mouth than from ads. Quick count, let's see... not counting the few from dealerships, there were exactly 2 from ads and I can recall 7 found via other channels.

Thanks for the advice you two. I purchased a 1960 Austin Healey Sprite MK1 today. I’ll pick it up next Saturday and show some pictures next week.

Congrats Todd. Just wondering - did you personally check out the car before buying it?
