G'day, The original LPG conversion was done by the previous owner (he had it for 12 years) and was made up from 2nd parts and home-built manifold, the tank is a 40lt impco I think, car is at present getting some major panel and paint. When I put the series 3 engine in we got rid of the old manifold (was setup for twin-carbs) and retained the series 3 efi manifold, we also ditched the old pancake style lpg carb for one of the newer straight through units as they are much more practical and give a much cleaner looking instal. The next addition will be a rotax stlye supercharger that will plug right into the new lpg carb (just a case of dropping the alternator down about 6ins) the mixer was split in 2 because the efi inlet manifold goes right where the original mixer was mounted beside the power-brake booster. The new engine had a $8,000 rebuild and after 3,000mls it got rear-ended and the whole car writen off by the insurance company, moter then sat for 3years until I tracked it down, it was perfect for me as you can't run a new engine in on lpg (it burns so clean that pistons and rings won't bed in) took 2 of us 30 hours for the instal, no shortcuts and quite a bit of fabrication 2get it all just right.
Have got a pair of V12 rear ends turning up anyday so once it out of panel shop 1 of them will be sloted in and I will be able to drive it again
