Hi All,
I'm here because the site appears to have active members with good advice and I am going to need lots of help with my new project, a 1974 TR6. I've got decent mechanical experience but have never taken on a restoration.
I bought the TR from a lady who's husband started the restore but passed away about 10 years ago. It has been sitting, covered, in a garage every since. The engine and trans. have been rebuilt, was newly painted, and has uninstalled upholstery and carpet kit. It is clean, sound, straight, and I could find no rust.
Problem is, everything was striped off to do the restore and a lot of parts are missing. No carbs, exhaust, all door parts, top/frame, and a lot of misc. stuff. Going to be one big egg hunt.
Best part is I'm retired and have lots of time.
