Hi,
My name is Chuck and as the handle suggests, I am the owner of a 97 TVR Chimaera, LHD. Not my first, but probably my last TVR, as father time is breathing at the door it seems!
Have owned almost all of the models over the years from MKII to Chimaera. Used to travel to the UK on business and was fortunate enough to visit and get to know many at the factory, along with many owners in the UK and the Continent.
I owned an 85 TVR 390se for over 20 years, so a big part of me was involved with Wedges! Looked for a lot of years to find a LHD version of the more recent
TVR's that I could legally import, but had to be yellow! I know, don't go there, part of being a TVR owner I guess?
Somehow, I was lucky enough to locate one in Switzerland and the best part was going there with my best friend and taking a 10 day vacation to bring it to the UK port,
Stopping at the Bugatti Museum, Porsche Museum, Autoworld and Goodwood on the way! If the opportunity ever comes along, highly recommend doing it!!!
Anyway, addicted to the marque and happy to correspond with any owners and kick tires!

Chuck
