T-Series Newbe question: brake light switch

Working on a '69 mgb gt. Have a new brake light switch but where do the wires connect? Some wiring seems to be missing and no one else in Reno that I know of has a running mgb with all wires intact. Does the connector head to the fuse box or directly back to where? Anyone have a photo, that would help. Manuals only show the switch but not where it connects.
 
You should have a green and a green/purple wire pair connected to a pressure switch at a junction for the brakelines. Not sure where the 'changepoint' was for location change, the older cars have it on the inner right wheel well, I ~think~ later ones were closer to the master cylinder. Green is voltage, green/purple goes to the rear (brakelamps).
 
Isn't that the brake failure light your talking about on the wheel well with the brake junction. I'm talking about the brake light to the back brakes. I'll go find another mgb to take a look to see where the missing wires are supposed to go.
 
Dr. Entropy is correct. The switch that activates the brake lights on the rear of the car has green and green/purple wires connected to it.
The brake failure light switch in '69 has black/white wires going to it. In later years, '76 and on, the brake failure light switch had green and green/orange wires going to it.

Yeah Dr Entropy is right since the brake switch in my hand has a gree and green/purple wire. But where do the wires go??? I have no wiring for them to connect to. Thanks for the schematic, I'll just hook it up per the diagram with new wires. Mine are missing. Thats what I was asking for in the first place. I probably should have taken photos instead and posted sinecmy problem would have been easier to see and explainable.
