Hi All Got started in British cars when mom brought home a bue eye in 1961. First car I drove at 11yrs old ,second conner(3mile) spun out (you can see where this is going)mom made me walk home.
Started hillclimbing in a Mini in 1969 , HoBO Hill in Warwick NY ,conned into it by Ken$Ester Sailor (they didnt have to twist that hard) At the time they where the pres & tresurer of The Liverpool Motor Club NY. LMC is the oldest active motor club on the planet(est 1903) I of course had to join and now unfortunatly for the clubs reputation act as pres.
We no longer own the hill but run with other sanctioning bodys. SCCA ,PHA, EMRA, VSCCA, (anyone who will take us )Auto X,hillclimbs ,road racing.
First event this yr is May 25/26 at Lime Rock Park Memoral Day Trans Am weekend ,three of our members(Lotus7,Mini,and long nose Sprite) will be in the vintage support races, come around and join us (we got a tent and all, very phosh)
Oh yea Im still spining out every now and again ,at least I dont have to walk home ,being on the track and all. Happy Motoring Pete
