*envious*

Great collection of cars here, unfortunately we're well past driving season here... Did go for a walk with the camera today, came back with pretty much nothing, a wee bit frustrating...

very envious - had hoped to get out but the rain came early and I felt cr*ppy so went out in the Beetle instead.

Very nice mix of cars! Took the FJ40 out for a test drive after sorting out the brakes -- it's my daily driver, though, so that really doesn't count. MGB is tucked away for the winter/salt season.

A Bora!?!

And a ~hint~ of an Elan. :cryin:

Abby is comin out for a run tomorrow. today got away in a hurry.
Looks like a great new years day there.

It was pretty hard braving that 75-degree weather today, eh Stuart?

From memory and a few photos, the start of the run had...

MG: Probably a dozen MGBs and MGB GTs, two MG TDs, one MGA
Lotus: Two Lotus Elevens (Westfields), Two Lotus Sevens (Westfields), one Elan, two Elise, one Europa
Porsche: About 15 Porsches of varying vintages, most went their own way
Triumph: One TR-6, One GT-6 LeMans, One TR-3
Mini: Three or four classic Minis
Austin Healey: One 100-6, One Bugeye Sprite
Jaguar: Two E-Types
Riley: Two Elfs
One Morgan Plus Four
One Opel GT
One Maserati Bora
One Ferrari 308
One Cobra (kit)
One Ford Cortina
Two BMW 2002s
One Pontiac Solstice (there's always a modern of some sort!)

Took my 6 out for a spin yesterday.... blue skies and in the 50's. Ten mins into the drive wooooosh-- a downpour of rain!
This is the first time since 1988 that my car has seen rain!
Got it back, dried it off and today I will be putting it on jack stands for the winter :cryin:

Where was this?

Up through Angeles Forest Highway?

If I would have known, I would have driven

down to join the festivities.

Please give me a heads up in the future.

I just stayed home and worked on my $350 Project.

Stewart,

I didn't see a Cortina - were you referring to the
light blue Escort?Way cool cars!
I got the TR6 out for a little while yesterday - sun
was out,& it was a clear day.

Dave this is our local So Cal group. We go out several times per year. It isn't a club, just a loose group of car buffs. Shoot me an email for more info.

sigh - I live in the wrong place! (lovely though)

Nice! But those curves look so easy with your wide angle lens. Some of those are 1st and 2nd gear turns but they look flat and wide in the video!
