new wiring - maybe ?

I am thinking about doing a major re-wire on the roadster and I'm considering buying one of the kits from https://www.britishmcce.com since they have some sort of special going on right now.

Any input about them or their products would be appreciated.

Thanks, Jack

Jack,I've heard that it's a great system and can handle anything you can put in the car with no worries. You would probably have to harness the wires in blue tape to make it look like it belongs though. Other than that, if the price is right, go for it. JMHO. PJ

PS, That's a right nice looking car you've got there.

Advance Autowire makes a fantastic product.

I have one in the MBG/GT V8 conversion.....custom made for my application.

Easy to follow wiring diagram...great power block (fuse panel)...heavier gauge wire.

I give it "two thumbs up"!!!

Peter Mittler put one of their harnesses in his rebuilt-from-the-ground-up MGB and raved about it. It's a total upgrade for the car's wiring and sounds great.

Another interesting site where a harness is installed in a TR6 is

https://tr6.danielsonfamily.org/

and go to the TR6 restoration

I installed this harness into my MGB V8 winter before last and it is very high quality and an excellent and worth while upgrade. The wire is superior quality and uses modern fuses and relays. I could not believe how well electrical components worked using this harness. You should realize that this is not a plug and play replacement harness. It is an upgrade harness designed for your british car using the same colour codes etc. It allows you to customize the installation as to where the power block is mounted etc. and the wires need to be run, cut and terminals installed. It is a lot of work but well worth it.
