Finally!! The new Whitephrog is stripped and ready for the media blaster. Frozen rear spring bolt cost two weeks delay in getting the rearnd removed. Cut-off saw and drill out was the ultimate solution. My paint and body guy is on standby to get the OEW single stage paint job done as soon as the blaster is finished. Progress photos will follow.

The "new Whitephrog" or the rear-ended "old Whitephrog"?
 
Heh, the new one looking for a good blasting. It's gona come back so preaty.
 
Car is original and unmolested except for some upgrades to the original engine by a NASCAR engine builder (Howard's Machine Shop) in the early 1970s. Car was purchase in 1973 in Huntsville Alabama then brought to Knoxville in 1974. It stayed in dry storage there until last year. PO intended to do a complete restoration. The transmission, generator and carbs were rebuilt but never re-installed. In 1978-79 he purchased about $3000 in what is now NOS to start the restoration. Before he started on the BE he got interested in Crosbys restoring several of them, never getting around to the BE.

The car is super solid. The only rust is where a muffler was improperly mounted. This car is so sound and so original that I feel obligated to restore it back to production line quality and originality.
