My new wheels and seats came today. Got them from Midland Wheels in the UK. Even with shipping it was cheaper getting them there instead of in the US. Now if my back would quit spasming I might get them installed someday. Gonna try and add a couple of pics to my blog. Too big for here.

Great minds must think alike, I just purchased rims from Midland and am very please. Even with shipping it was a very decent price.

Here's a pic where I'm trying them out on my TR4, though I bought them eventually to use on the TR3A. Except now I like them on the 4!

p.s. Anyone in need of 165-15s for their TRs, I also recommend JC Whitney - free shipping for a set of 4 Kumhos.

The seat runners for my car are long gone. I bought universal sliders for the seats I now have in it and will be using those and whatever else I need to make in order to get the seats to sit at the right height.

The rough toe settings we did today helped a lot. Found the shim thickness and will be making some to correct camber settings. Will be in touch. Thanks for all you great efforts today.

I have looked at the Midland site. The prices are excellent, but the offset they quote for their 15 x 5.5" wheels is more than the +3 to +6 quoted for most TR wheels. Any fit issues?

I looked at the seats too. Are the head restraints removable?

I would need to verify the offset on what they sent me, but I have no interference issues - even on the TR4 with the wider upper ball joint. Main issue I was a little concerned with is that they use tapered lug nuts and I only get 7-8 turns to tighten - that is the extreme minimum recommended. I've been checking and there has been no issue on lugs loosening. It looks like I have a little offset room left so I may consider at some point getting a wheel place to shave some off the backside of the wheels if feasible to get better purchase, or bite the bullet and try to put longer studs on the car.
