So we bought one of the new Samsung Smart TVs when we moved to the new palatial estate.
They do some pretty neat stuff.
My daughter, before I picked her up for her break, had gone to a art showing from a string artist.
Pretty cool stuff with color and movement.
She took a lot of pics with her iPhone and just down loaded an app and she could send it on the network to the TV so we could see all her pics in a slide show.
Pretty cool what the TVs do now days

We broke down this summer and replaced the old CRT with a new TV. We went all out and got a 51" Samsung 3-D plasma. I agree, the smart features are pretty neat. Netflix, hulu, all that stuff already on the tv. view pics, videos, email, Even web surfing (Kinda klunky with just a remote, but you can use a wireless mouse and keyboard) Nice picture, and the 3-D is just cool. We did a ton of research before we bought. So far I'm quite happy with it. we had a 3-D movie night last night. We watched Monsters Inc. The scene where they're riding the doors is great!

LOL, we swiped Kelly's aunt's 6 y.o cheapy flat screen as a major upgrade from the tv/vcr wal mart combo we bought ten years ago for $99.

A lot of those new tv's pull max power even thought it's not on.
