I really like that new TRF catalogue. It is a lot easier to work with and new information on tr3 stock interior that I had not heard about before, pretty cool.
 
I don't have a TR any more, but I do remember the difficulty in navigating their catalog. Good to hear they've addressed that!
 
I got the new one and am still lost. It seems to be designed for browsing rather than finding an obscure part.

For the obscure part you just can’t beat the original factory spare parts catalog. I like that TRF kept the factory parts numbers, and always enjoy getting one of their new offerings. But I always just use them for browsing just like I did with the Sears Christmas catalogs!
 
I buy a lot of parts from TRF, or at least used to when I was restoring my car, but agree, the parts catalog layout leaves something to be desired.
I think both VB and Moss use a factory parts diagram and insert their prices and parts
numbers, which makes it easier to find stuff.
 
I kinda agree with Tom however I think there is some brilliance in his design. It's a catalog you want to keep around and browse through it every now and then. If I'm researching parts I use their on line catalogs and also have paper back blue and green TR6 and TR7 catalogs. Others have commented about how they like the real pictures of enthusiasts enjoying their cars. Who can say they have a FUN catalog!

The main reason I like it is there are 4 pics of me and my cars in it. That's me auto-crossing the white TR3A and my son auto-crossing the blue TR250. Also my car coming through the cover bridge. They use that pic a lot. Anyway my moment of fame.
 
I guess I do not remember their old catalog having an alphabetical index for the parts. Heck it was Randall not that long ago that showed me they used the original part numbers out the original parts book and to just give them the part number to see if they had it.

All are works in progress (and at least based on other people's work), so let me know if there is something missing, illegible pages or whatever. I tend to seesaw back and forth on size, but somewhere around 25 Mb seems to be the best balance between size and quality.
 
Absolutely love that TRF uses the original part numbers.

Absolutely love that Randall posts the Spare Parts Catalog.

Absolutely love the TRF catalog - the analogy to Sears is correct, likewise it is wonderful that we (lbc community, including my daughter) are featured in it!

I suspect someone from Armagh reads these posts, and want to express my gratitude!
