New transmission mounts necessary ?

Changing over the '74 TR6 from a four-speed to the upgraded
overdrive J-type tranny.

Do I have to make any changes to the transmission
mounting bracket(s) that came on the car with the original
four-speed? What do I put in, modify or change out?

Thanks,

You should be fine, its us CC-series drivers that have to do some modificating...

If you are doing all of this, why use your old mounts, unless they are perfect? Those two mounts in the back are cheap compared to the aggravation if one breaks and you have to change it later.

My thoughts exactly when I read the title of the post
