I picked up my new trailer today. I've been renting a trailer for the Midget when we go to the track and Erica has been driving her Miata. Now we can trailer them both.
Whoa! Excellent score!
Pete M. has been thinking of modding his single car trailer into something like this. I'm going to print this out and show him. Your truck may be fine...I bet your total pull-weight is still less than one of those 60s muscle cars that I often see in enclosed trailers.
The truck will be fine. Each axle has brakes and the whole shootin' match weighs less than an equipment trailer and skid steer. It looks a little funny with just one car on it
As far as parking it on the street, well, when I stopped for breakfast this morning I took up a full row of spots. You need to be very deliberate with where you go.
Erica is planning the mods to our '79 280ZX to go ice racing this winter. That should fill out the trailer nicely. I'm a little jealous that she'll have heat and a tin top and I'll be in a snow suit freezing my butt off. I'll get a picture with the Miata on there when we go to Summit Point later this month.

OK, we'll see you there. Pete and I are running the 4-Hour and my son-in-law is running the Sunday TT, so we'll be around the entire weekend. Do you know if Frenchy is coming?
Are you planning on doing ice racing with these guys?
I'm going to the dyno with Mike next Wednesday. As far as I know he is going to Summit. Erica and I need to figure out our schedule but we're hoping to work on Saturday and drive on Sunday. How do the race school's work on TT days? Can you do both?

Thanks...if I know Mike's coming, I'll put him in charge of something!
You can do the TT and race school on the same day.
You need to call Pete M. and get on his student list. He does not use e-mail, but his number is 973-383-8859.
