New Trailer

I picked up my new trailer today. I've been renting a trailer for the Midget when we go to the track and Erica has been driving her Miata. Now we can trailer them both.

A 3-axle trailer--that's a long trailer! Congrats, new toys are always fun, especially when they solve problems. Enjoy it.

I think you fit about 9 LBCs on that thing, that's awesome.
Room for a tool box, spares bucket and a grill. Good job.

Nice! Looks like your gonna needa bigger truck.

Whoa! Excellent score!
Pete M. has been thinking of modding his single car trailer into something like this. I'm going to print this out and show him. Your truck may be fine...I bet your total pull-weight is still less than one of those 60s muscle cars that I often see in enclosed trailers.

Can you park that on the street? I've thought about a trailer but cannot keep it in the driveway.

The truck will be fine. Each axle has brakes and the whole shootin' match weighs less than an equipment trailer and skid steer. It looks a little funny with just one car on it

As far as parking it on the street, well, when I stopped for breakfast this morning I took up a full row of spots. You need to be very deliberate with where you go.

Nice ~TOOL~ Dude!

Well bowled!!!

That's like the definition of overkill. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Erica is planning the mods to our '79 280ZX to go ice racing this winter. That should fill out the trailer nicely. I'm a little jealous that she'll have heat and a tin top and I'll be in a snow suit freezing my butt off. I'll get a picture with the Miata on there when we go to Summit Point later this month.

Could I have about a third of that trailer?

OK, we'll see you there. Pete and I are running the 4-Hour and my son-in-law is running the Sunday TT, so we'll be around the entire weekend. Do you know if Frenchy is coming?

Are you planning on doing ice racing with these guys?

Looks like a hoot.

I'm going to the dyno with Mike next Wednesday. As far as I know he is going to Summit. Erica and I need to figure out our schedule but we're hoping to work on Saturday and drive on Sunday. How do the race school's work on TT days? Can you do both?

For the fun of it I should try to get two Midgets and a Sprite on there.

Thanks...if I know Mike's coming, I'll put him in charge of something!

You can do the TT and race school on the same day.
You need to call Pete M. and get on his student list. He does not use e-mail, but his number is 973-383-8859.

Loaded up and ready to go. See you at Summit Point Nial.

That's just too cool, Chris. Hope your race goes well.
