TR6 New TR6 owner in Tennessee USA

I would invest in a new wiring harness when it comes time for re-assembly. Since it will be accessible, there will never be a better time to do it. Might want to consider the typical upgrades of addition circuits and better wire connectors unless you are going back all original.

That's the plan.. I'm going to remove the rest of the dash and the wiring harness and have the tub sandblasted.
I definitely plan to do some upgrades along the way
 
Yes, the reddish color is primer. You'll see it anywhere you remove the seam sealer.

Just an update. I have been on the road pretty much since my last post so no actual work done yet but I have been getting some things together.
I picked up a Lincoln 125 Mig welder and a gallon of POR 15. They should be at the house waiting on me when I get back.
Ive never welded before so I have a lot of practicing to do.
