TR4/4A New TR4 tuning

Charlie did you see the post on this forum--- today called ”Choke operation from the factory” I put it up for you to see from old an old post.

i did see that. The picture is not correct. The clevis ends straddle the front and rear jet levers and the cable attaches on the engine side. Like I said there doesn’t appear to be any accurate description of install or adjustment. I have it fixed but it was not from anything I could find except pushing down on the accelerator peddle easily enables the choke to be withdrawn to position 3. I believe I read that on of the posts.
 
The choke works perfectly now. Three positions 2 9f which increases idle. I thought it could still use some tweaking. I was looking through “The Complete Official Triumph TR4 & TR4A 1961-1968”. Robert Bentley Copyright 1975. I found this under Supplements to Drivers Handbook. TR 4 S,U. Carburettors (Type H6). P43 Jet and Throttle Interconnection Adjustment. Perfect!
