Hey there, thought i'd drop a line and introduce myself. My name is Ken and I am currently a new owner of a 63 MGB. I am going to be doing a complete resto to this baby. The car was already a driver. All original red w/red black piping. All chrome very good, couple of dents but overall really good shape for this original vintage. No soft top but has hard top currently. My plan is to (currently in process) conpletely strip down and color change to black, use same colors for interior. Plan on changing motor and tranny too. Already have the 67 non-synchro 1st w/overdrive tranny that fits the car and am looking for a 5main motor.

I like those cross flow heads. Does anyone have any experiance with these and what type of intake and carb(s) work well on these?

I am also curious about converting the rear brakes to disc. Anyone have kits out there?

Thanks, Ken

Just FYI, the rear brakes on an MGB are more than adequate for the vehicle and are a perfect balance to the fronts. It can be done if you don't mind some minor modifications to the car, but my opinion is that your money is best spent elsewhere.
