Hello to all. I just found you this mornig and thought i'd hook up. I have a 1969 MGC Roadster which i've owned for the past 6 years. I work like a dog so if it takes a while to get back to you please be patient.

Generally, the dogs in my family don't seem to do *any* work..

Anywhoo....welcome! (and if you get a chance, post a picture of your car in "Member's Rides").

Welcome to the forum...IMHO you own the cream of the MG crop...the 69C...can't wait to see it! and please put me in your will...email for specifics or have your lawyers contact me.

Welcome, Todd...I've a '68 MGC roadster...you've got a good 'un there!

Anthem Arizona... Where the heck is that? WELCOME to the number one/ best forum on the internet. Lots of fun and a bunch of both old timers and young pups here.
By the way (to all the "work like a dog" guys out there)... What does a dog do on his day off?

His job is lying around and watering the hydrants.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome! I will be accepting bribes for position in my will. As you all know these cars don't stay on the road for free.

Howdy Todd

nice to see another 6 machine in the forum, I've got a 68 CGT (photos in the members rides). I own both a B Roadster and the C and I find that the C has a quite unique character compared to the B.

One thing I always have problems getting out of one and into the other is the clutch is a lot heavier and has a longer travel in the C compared to the B which only needs a blip on the clutch to change gears.

Hope to hear more about your beastie when they "payrole you from the pound"

regards

Tom

I love MGCs ! My uncle was given a 1969 MGC GT around 1975 because some guy owed him some money. The engine was frozen and the car hasn't seen the road since. I believe it's still in its all original condition since it was only on the road for about 5-6 years!

He will need a new exhaust since the tailpipe was a popular place to hide Easter eggs before the hunt!! I would guess there are more than a few stuffed in there.
