Well, I've been "encouraged" to introduce myself rather than sit on the sidelines. I recently bought a nice, restored 1962 TR3B as a combination 71st birthday present to myself and a 50th wedding anniversary for my wife. I drove a 1958 TR3 when we started dating in 1960. Unfortunately, due to her health, we really don't use the car and I hate letting it rot, but I keep hoping for the time to take her out.

That'sit for me!

Congrats on the new TR3! Those are fun little buggies! Also thanks for taking a moment to introduce yourself. We;re a very friendly lot here, as you will quickly discover if you hang a round a bit.

Cheers,
Basil

Welcome to the BCF. Please post photos of your car. I sadly sold my 1962 TR3B nearly two years ago when storage was lost while downsizing, but the fond memories are still a joy.

Hopefully the health of our wife will be improving, and you can keep the TR3B in fine tune as well.

Welcome to the BCF chwoodward! You've come to the right place. Another TR3 is on my list (owned one briefly when in college), but I'm not sure when I'll get around to it. Enjoy your birthday/anniversary present - you can shop for me anytime!

Hi ya, chwoodward, welcome to the asylum!

I know exactly what you mean about hoping things will get better; spent 20 years doing that with my first wife. Here's hoping you'll get your chance!
