Hello everyone
I have a lot of questions so I will break them up. First let me say I went to Roebling Rd last weekend for the VDCA event, without car. The weather couldn't have been worse 42 and heavy rain. I went last year and saw several spridgets but I guess the weather kept everyone away. I was hoping to meet and talk to some spridget racers, make some new friends and gather some info.
I live in SC just north of Savannah GA anyone live near by?
HSR, SVRA, and VDCA all race in this area any feed back on clubs you prefer and which group attracts the most spridgets.

Hap Waldrop of Acme Speedshop, in Greenville SC and sometimes a very prolific contributor here is very knowledgeable about racing Spridgets. Look him up.

Glenn, I was there and somehow missed you, I got there Saturday morning, I had two cars to crew for, Fred McConnell's Black MGB, and Red Bordner's blue Midget, unfortunately Red taped up most of his grill in the session before I arrived, and in the heat of battle overheated his engine, siezed a exhaust valve, bent a puhrod and probably a bit more damage. He was one of the very few Spridgets there, I did see a Bugeye on the trailer, but only as the guys was leaving the track. Call me anytime, I'll try my best to help with any questions you have, we talked before, hey if I don't know the answer, I'll find someone that does. Noramlly VDCA attracts a few more Spridgets, there was a good 6-8 at CMP ealrier this year, but i guess the weather forecast scared them off this year, it was brutal weekend, weather wise.
