Well I found a tr3-- looks like a 1959. The car is going to be an implementation in welding and fabricating patches.

Thanks you guys. I have many parts that I have collected over the years. I have a full set of body panels. However, the frame I have will need fixing because of the underside rust. The tub is in sad shape and will need panel patch fabrication. I might go stock rat wagon and make a ruff driver, but probably not . Heck it will give me something to practice fabrication, welding and fitting for the next 4 years.

I do not have the VIN. The shuttle does not have the raised hinge pads and there is no wood under shuttle. Plus there is no blanking plate. I guess that makes the car a pre 60K 1959

I could use a better Frame, but the old frame should be weld-able . The guy I got this from was up in Canada on Vancouver Island, so I had to take the ferry to Canada. Up in that neighborhood there are a lot smaller islands. I guess the old Rock and Roll band “Bachman Turner Overdrive” owns this island called Salt Springs which they turned into this Artist retreat that has several old broke down nice cars from the 1960ites. The trouble is you have to get there by private boat that holds a car plus you have to know someone and be invited.

Incredibly small world... I live on Vancouver and think I might know the guy where you got those parts from. There are only two or three TR3 on Salt Spring island. Can't wait to hook up with those guys when I get mine done and cruse around Salt Spring Island. I'm a year and a half into my restoration - and about a year left to go! BTW... I live right next to the ferry terminal that goes to salt Spring. Move to Canada as the pandemic hit!

Interesting Joel, I was under the impression that Salt Spring Island was private, but again this is the first time I have heard of Salt Spring Island. The island sounds like a cool place. If I get back up that way I will take the Ferry and have a look. The guy I got the car from was up in North Sannich.

Yes Hamish the town of Victoria is beautiful. We were there on a sunny day with some political protest going on and everyone was cool and friendly. The city is clean we walked around for hours waiting for the return ferry and I only saw one homeless person. I am just so amazed how downhill the Seattle area has gone. Not that long ago I remember the Seattle area had paper mills, lumber mills, ship building ect…..
