Wanted to introduce myself to the forum. Just joined yesterday after a bit of a battle with the computer. Seems there was already a "Steve" as member and I could not use that name, so I come as SteveT. I have been a British nut for years and a car nut for longer than that. Learned to read by reading car mags. I owned and sold a 1968 AH Sprite and now have a beautiful '70 MG BGT. Am in the process of restoring to original luster. I will post a picture soon. Thanks and look forward to reading and contributing to the forum.

Hello and welcome to the forum. There are just too darn many Steves on this board aren't there?

Yeah, Steve!

Now who gets to keep the forum name Steve? Hmmm... any ideas anyone... how do we break this tie?

Thanks for the warm welcome. Now that we've got the Steve thing straightened out; anyone that is a Steve must be alright, I look forward to read and, hopefully, contribute. My next major project is rebuilding the rear suspension. Thanks Gary for the previous e-mail, it helped alot. Any other suggestions would be certainly appreciated.

hello and welcome to our board steve #2. lots of good folks here.

WELCOME, Steve. Great place! I'm not far, Middletown, OH. You have a great MG shop in Kettering called MG Automotive, on Wimington Pike.

Thanks again from everyone. To Bryan H. I have used MG Automotive for years. Steve Miller, owner and ace mechanic, rebuilt the engine of my BGT and did a terrific job. Put brand new SUs on it and do they look great and, perform as well. He also did a bit of work on my 68 AH Sprite that I sold in order to get my GT.
Again, thanks.

Glad we were finally able to get you logged on! Sorry you had so much trouble! Hope you enjoy the forum now that you finally made it here!

Cheers,
Basil

PS: It was nice talking to you the other day. It gave me something to do while I was snowed in at my hotel in Colorado Springs (on a business tripp)

This reminds me of the old "Newhart" show: "Hi, I'm Larry. This is my brother Steve and my other brother Steve.

Too many Steves... I have been here for awhile and ended up as StevenA... Are we going to have to set up a forum for "steve" ? I believe we all have the same last name (even the Non-Steves) and that is "Tinkerer".
Welcome new Steve. There's quite a wealth of knowledge here and even more experience.

Cheers, Steve
