Hello all,
I've been on the Lotus and Racing forums the past couple of days, but never took the time to introduce myself here.
I'm 21, currently in college for Mechanical/Automotive engineering. Certifiable car nut. Through high school my dad and I restored/modified a 1955 Jaguar XK 140, that sometime in the 70's had been converted with an E-type 3.8L, Independant rear suspension, disc brakes, and misc other stuff, but left unfinished.
More info on that one at
https://www.knightmares.com/jaguar
Currently other British cars in the family are
2007 Jaguar XK
2005 Bentley Arnage
Uncle has an Austin Healey 3000, but don't get to see that very often.
Previous British cars are
2002 Jaguar XKR Coupe
1999 Jaguar XJR
1990 Bentley Turbo R
1984 Jaguar XJS
3x AH 3000's (dad's long before I was born)
1959 MGA (Dad's first car)
19?? Frogeye Sprite (mom's first car)
So as you can see it runs in the family. And it's apparently contagious too, cause one of my friends recently got a 72MGB.
