Hello all, my name is Ron and I hope to become a member in
good standing. I have owned a 1962 E Type for about four
decades. Even after all this time I never tire of driving
it.

Hey, Ron and welcome to the BCF. Four decades, is that from new?

I'm sure you've got a lot of stories to tell, advice to dispence, and questions to ask. You'll find this forum full of really helpful and quite nice people.

Again, welcome!

Hi Ron. I was down in The Dalles, Oregon last night for a "Neon Nights" cruise. There had to have been 500-600 cars. Not one XKE! There were only two Jaguars. My MK1 & a newer XJ8. That was it. My hope is to eventually come up with an XKE with an automatic transmission (I don't have the option of using a stick shift) and selling my MK1. I'm just waiting for the right opportunity. There are lots of nice people on this web site (including Sir Basil) If you have any questions....someone has the answer. There are a lot of JagHeads just dying to answer Jaguar challenges!!
