I have read alot of posts on tires. my question, has anyone purchased verdestein t-trac 165/80r15 87t tl tires. My existing tires are kumho but they are old and I can't find new for sale in that size. They are mounted on15x5.5 four spoke american racing wheels. I have tr6 wheels (1969 12 hole with holes for hub cap studs) and a set of original hub caps that i want to run with the new tires. Aspect ratio 80 tires seem to be very hard to find at a reasonable price, 65 ratio are easy to find but i don't want a shorter tire. All comments will be appreciated. Grant I did't mention it is a tr4a.

I just got the Vredestein Sprint Classic in 165/15 mounted on 4.5" wire wheels. Unfortunately, have not had them on the road yet. I ordered them from a small private dealer. He first got in the T-Trac in 165/80-15. They are more expensive and may be a better tire but, I wanted the classic look of the Sprint Classic. He ended up getting them from Coker. Best of all, this dealer had an adapter hub for wire wheels for his computer balancer. It mounts the wheel just like it was on a splined hub.

My TR4A IRS is running Vredestein Sprint 165R 15 tires and I have no complaints. They have been on the car for about 4 years.
