We finally got a warm day here about 70 degrees, So I pulled the TR out in the sun with the new top to warm up in the sun. About three hours later had the top installed. The bows need a little adjusting. I like the looks of the sunfast mat'l. Now for the side curtains.....

I hate you. it is 15 degrees & snowing here.

But that car / new top sure looks great....
Oh, by the way. Nice top

The top looks great, and so does the car. The panel fit looks perfect.

What a great car! Top looks excellent ... and so do those new wheels. Congratulations!

Tom

I really like the wheels and the top looks great, but tell me more about the 70 degrees -- it's only Monday and we are looking at 15 to 19 inches by Wednesday night. "It ain't a fit night out for man or beast", to quote the famous philosopher, and it's getting worse -- or 'deeper', in any event. Good thing midwest summer
(and fall) makes up for it all.

It looks great. It might be about time to take a drive out here. My brother's tulips are beginning to bloom. Dutch Hollow Farms Should be in full bloom in two weeks. TR in the Tulips?

70 degrees = shorts, tee shirts and taking the top down and perfect driving weather.....
Paul, I am out of work for the time being, Let us know when a good time to visit and we will have a few LBC's in the parking lot of the Tulip Farm.

Dan, that is one great looking TR3. The color combo is great and the wheels make the classic body style look even better.

And I see we have a new gut in from Madison WI.

Welcome to the Forum. There is one other active member from Madison by the name of Tom with a TR6 and a project Midget under construction.

That is the exact same color scheme I am doing right now, ah, rather as soon as it warms up some so I can finish the paint work. Tan top is still in the box, seats and dash ready. Looks great.

Thanks for the compliments Guys. The Tr3 has had to frame off jobs due to being rear ended in spring of 2009, just after finishing the first frame off restoration in fall of 2008. With the ins $$ we installed the HVDA 5-speed trans, R&P steering and a few other fun mods. We drive the TR almost every day. I am taking the "dogs out for a walk" in a few minutes.

The colour is the new VW Bug "Harvest moon Beige".

Dan,showed my wife the pics of your car and dogs. She is a dog person, but suprisingly she was more interested in what was the interior color. Is it custom
or from one of the large suppliers.
Thanks
Tom

The interior was made by "TOO TALL TIM". It is a custom color, and all leather. "Too tall Tim is on E-Bay a lot. If you would like I can send you a sample of the leather and Too Tall Tim's info. There has been a few Guys from the BCF that has used him and with good results. P.M. me if you would like the info.

Dan,Thanks,I have talked to Too Tall and he said he could send samples when I am ready, thanks for the offer.
