Currently replacing the fuel pump in a '69 E-Type roadster and noticed a subtle difference between the old and the new. My old pump ports had a flat faces and the new pump ports have a milled face that appears to be a groove for an o-ring. It is the same size as the grooved face on the banjo fitting. So I am thinking here is how I am going to put this back together: Put an o-ring in the pump groove followed by a fiber washer, then the flat face side of the banjo fitting, followed by an o-ring on the grooved side of the banjo, then a fiber washer and finally the bolt. Sound reasonable?
