I got the new hub that Chris made yesterday and could hardly wait to put it together.
After I pulled the old one (again) I put the new one on and proceeded to try and fit the nut. NoGo.
I ended up using a 3 corner file to chase the threads.
Finally got it on & tightened & straight and drove it around a bit, very nice.
I went to NAPA to get a file and while there ran into a few MG owners. After gabbing for a while found one guy who said his wheel was worse than mine even after I drilled ugly holes in it. So I gave it to him! He has a 77 Midget so it will fit fine.
Is there some way I can put some kind of MG logo in the center of this thing?
