That's so true, but for me it goes much further, as in "If you like to get attention, drive a Herald"! For whatever reason, I seem to get almost universally positive reaction to my white sedan, whether it's at a car show, driving down the highway, in a parking lot or anywhere else!tomgt6 said:If you like to get attention at car shows drive a Herald....
History has taught me that when the little car is together, it will be the wife out road racing. Her right foot has an atomic number of 82.booley said:better get your car together so you can race him
Tom, I have to admit that I've become pretty much a "speed limit" driver in my advanced years (57 this coming July). But I've no problem maintaining a legal limit in the Herald, at least up to the 65 mph limit on some rural-area interstates in my area.tomgt6 said:Andy,
Do you know why you get some much attention going down the highway?
It is because everyone has to pass the slow moving car in the right lane doing, if lucky, 55mph.
In a parking lot is because it left a big oil stain or white cloud of smoke.
Well, in a way I can. Since none of the others run currently, they leak virtually nothing (except bits of rust) and smoke even less. :thumbsup:tomgt6 said:Andy, can you say that about the other 10 you have sitting around the barn and yard.
