Anyone have tips on fitting new seat covers? Just bought leathers from Prestige for my original '63 seats. Anyone ever add lumbar support? Heard that adding an extra inch of foam to the bottom rounds them out better.
Any help would be appreciated.
Adding the extra inch to the bottoms allows the bugs to stick to my forehead. I have to take an inch out of my seat foam. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

If you cover the foam back with a trash bag and then lube it up, it goes on MUCH easier. Pull the bag off when you're done. An article in last month's Safety Fast described the process. I'll see if I can find it.
I use cotton to stuff them to get a better appearance...& the trash bag trick does make them slip on easier...just remember to reach up inside & pull the trash bag out after you're finished.
