This is my new project, a 1969 Spitfire with overdrive all matching numbers,is now in the process of body painting (56 royal blue), later the air conditioning, this car was imported from San Francisco. The only missing part is the center console for the radio. https://s451.photobucket.com/albums/qq231/GardenerTR6/Spit 69 restoration/

Nice, next best Spitfire to a 1968 which still has the gauges in the middle. I also love a Royal Blue Spitfire Mk3 (or TR4A for that matter).

How many Triumphs do you find in Puerto Rico?

Scott

here we don't need heater nevvvvveeeeer !!!!! always drive with a/c and with that hard top imagine!! I toke out the heater and there I put the evaporator.

Here in Puerto Rico we have a lot of Triumph, MGs, Minis also some Crosleys. We have Puerto Rico British Car Club. My passion for Triumph are for more than 30 years, and in those year I own 5 Tr6 ,69,70,74,75,76, 1 GT6 70, 5 Spitfire 68,69,70 and now another 69, also 1 TR7 all has been sold locally and the 74 TR6 gone to USA by the 3rd owner it has overdrive and a targa hard top red paint.

Your Wife lets you park your car in the house?

Saw a TV show of one of PR's car shows. More sports cars than I would have imagined.

Marv,

How many cars do you have??? Between you and tdskip....

Nice car and it looks like a nice spot to work on it. That's funny, I thought that there were very few British Cars in PR, let alone a club with a lot of cars and members. Interesting......

Hi Paul, let me tell you we have a lot of British cars here what happens is not everybody speak or write in english, I try my best, and I think I can communicate in the forum, sometime I have some errors but overall, I can communicate. Here we have real show cars, modified cars, and some Frankeinscars, last week I was with one of the member of the PRBCC he have one GT6, 3 part cars, one TR6 and one Frankeinscar, it consist in a chassis and body of TR6 the engine is turbo of a Nissan Z donor, the tranny of a BMW with the front and rear wheels also the diff. But the real deal is the body, hard top of a GT6 with wide body flairs. Can you imagine.............

You know, now that you mention it, someone did post pictures of a British car in PR not too long ago. There looked to be a lot of nice cars at that one and a lot of Triumphs.

You communicate a lot better in English than I ever could in Spanish.

Well, Ill be darned. That's at least three TR6's. You got any more pictures? Those look like pretty nice cars.

old pics gone with old computer, but promise to take and post as soon I get new pics. the brown is a 74 and was as original as it was when new, the blue one is upgraded with a lot of nickel in the engine and it suspension was upgraded so the door fit and body look straight.

Hey Guys,

Whatever happened to the "CRYPT CAR" from Puerto Rico? I`m referring to "Dale" down there.

Gardener; It the pic is of an Orig. `74; She`d have those "BIG, UGLY" rubber rebound bumpers on her! Maybe she ain`t as Orig. as you may think but ??

Russ

you're right Russ, this is not the 74, the owner of the 74 was selling it because had no use for it (divorce force wife to keep the car) I'll check who this is the owner and the year,
