Okay.
I was looking at the recesses on the side of the head behind the exhaust manifolding.
Too many different types of cars over the years, MOST seem to have sparkers on the exhaust side.
Well i am back at it. The windshield is in and i have most of the suspension and brakes completed. The fuel system is ready and i have installed a battery disconnect switch. Exhaust is completed as well. The lugnuts i purhcased from ebay have still not arrived. 10 days and counting! I really want to see what its going to look like with the 4 spoke Libre wheels on it. Engel had 4 of the 6 OE body side mldgs so i am still missing 2. Tomorrow may be a good day to sniff some glue....AW...Install carpets. Bob
A few more days and i could drive this MG. The throtle is stiff and sticky, the choke cable is not installed and things like the map light and radio blank are not installed yet. The front sits high for my taste and after it settles i may install older MGB or MGA front springs. Also have to clean the headlight and fan switch. Plus that one missing headlight door! Its a fairly short punch list that gets longer as i see more things to fix or install. Anyone recognise the wheel centers? Bob
