New Poll - Did Crypty attack, or not??

Yo Ben-

What a great time we have had!!

Ground wire for head light reconnected- now functions
Popped bullet for brake lights reconnected-now functional
Popped bullet for left indicator reconnected-now functions

Wiring system ready for liftoff.

Key in the ignition, barely turned it and Amos fired
right up. A little warm up and we're in the street;
firing past DPO Pedro's house. A one finger salute and
Amos and me head-on-down-the-road.

Dang, it felt SCHWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTT!!

What an international team effort!

Congratulations Dale! It has been a long and difficult trail for you, but it appears you've arrived at a finish line, for now. I admire your perserverence!! I hope you get months of trouble-free driving in, before you have to rebuild your differential. Perhaps someone from Rhode Island can help 'dial you in' on a replacement. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif Having followed your saga for months now, and knowing all that you've done to exorcize DPO Pedro, I am convinced that Amos has finally arrived... he just needs a new diffy!
Enjoy your car!

Bob

I'd say Dale is easily capable of a diff recondition when the time comes. The BIG torque wrench, bearings, seals, some thrust washers and BCF... but I suspect that'll be some miles down the road yet.

Congratulations to Ben and especially Dale & the long suffering Wendy. If we got the electronic side of the story, can you imagine what that poor gal went through in real time???

Of course, she did bring that demon home, didn't she?

The word on the street is that Dale is now planning to retire from his second career as an active duty, full time mechanic and devote his life to publishing tech articles for the BCF WiKi.

Rumor, or fact??

You be the judge.........
