New pics of midget with the engine installed!!!

It doesn't work:

welcome

Good photos - & I like the silver & tan together!

the color combo is awesome !!!

car really looks great, question, how did you get your seats so clean? they look great.

I have tan seats as well, and they are rather dirty, looking for advice on cleaning them. another post suggested the only way is with a bucket of soap and water and start scrubbing.

I'm doing my customized V8 MGB named SSsnake in that combo.

The seats were in pretty good shape when I got them as far as tears there were none etc. I got the 30 yrs of grime off of them by first spraying the whole seat down with purple power and letting sit for a good ten minutes. After that I used a scub brush with stiff bristles to get in all the grooves. I wiped down the whole seat with a wet reg they repeated until clean. For the real tough spots I used goof off and a rag. That stuff is strong though so be careful if you try.

Is that more metallic silver or gray? Either way looks great.

It's supposed to be metallic silver. I painted it myself so its more silver than metallic but it looks good from a far. As Chris said to me the other day 20/20 "Looks good from 20 feet at 20 miles per hour"

Hey Roger:
It is great to see the engine in it's new home!!! The color scheme looks great too and the paint as well. I'm glad the engine got there ok, I just wish the pistons had survived the trip though. Can't say enough for all the assistance Chris gave on the receipt and building of the engine - when we will have audio???
Roy
sure you don't need a nice Weber 45 DCOE for it???

Tempting, thats definitely on the wish list for next year. I can barely eat and pay my rent after whats been done thus far even with all the help. This is an expensive hobby!

Great job!

Looks great  !!! The dramatic" lighting in the photos sure sets it off nice!!
