Picked up from a local seller here in So Cal, a 65 MK3000 last Dec. Was fully reconditioned a few years back so very good condition mechanically and the body. Had a 65 ford falcon for over 10 years as a starter classic car and when this one was available, moved up to the Healey. Novice mechanical skills and fully retired. Sold the falcon.

Welcome! Lots of knowledge from the other folks here. Learned to drive on a '65 Falcon, 170 c.i, three on the tree, no radio, no options whatsoever. Caspian blue. Funny how I can remember everything about that car.

Glad to have you aboard - be sure to jump in at our Austin Healey forum where you will find answers to most questions you might ask (and some you don't ask)

Welcome! The Healey is tech from the same era, you should have no trouble with the transition.

My "trainer" was a '61 Falcon. 144 C.I.D., three speed manual as well. "Borrowed" from my mother. It was red. As a joke I put stripes on it that looked like the Shelby Mustang G.T. 350's of the time, but with "GT-144" instead. Graduated high school and got my first MGB, returned th' Falcon to me mum. 😉
