New Orleans British car show...

The British Motoring Club of New Orleans held their 15th annual British car day at Delgado College today and it was a great success. In spite of the threat of weather, the sun shone all day. It was a great show, had people that drove in from all over to participate. One guy DROVE his twice-national-concours-winning 64 MGB in from Maryland! You could eat off his engine. Approximately 120 cars participated. I love British Car show people. They are all so nice and helpful. Even got to meet Vettedog from the forum. I was hoping that Piman would show up. Looking forward to next year, as always.

I'm soo glad it turned out so well-I couldn't make it -all ready promised to take a few cars to "MUSTANG SALLY's" CAR SHOW IN lAFAYETTE. We are in Abbeville and have a car show on April 17th in the square! It's free,they will feed you and your passengers,there is music all day and there are Arts & Craft Faire . I don't know where in La you are but I promise a good time & whole bunch of interesting vehicles!!!!!!!Randi /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

Great report on the show. BTW that Rolls had a radiator fan that was cast aluminum (I think) and looked to be about 3 FEET in diameter. I thought TR6Bill had the best TR6 there and even though the red '75 looked near show room new it did not have the "necessary" mods incorporated on TR6Bills and it would have been no challenge if they were on the track.

I have a picture or two taken at the show but I don’t have the knowledge to reduce the size to post on this n.g. Still trying.
 
Just make sure you send it to the GA address. What did you do, Bill? All he can talk about now is louvers/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif . Wish I could have made the show, but I was crushed under schoolwork, as usual.
