Hello All,
I am a new member and have already been enjoying the site. I'm in the process of restoring a 67 OTS XKE serial 1E14999 (One Short). I have it on the jig now replacing all the sheet metal below door level. As I have detected two other 67's being restored by other members including our host I expect to be an active member. In addition I am about to begin reassembly of the IRS. As a note I had my rear brake caliper cylinders stainless steel sleeved by John Farrell Auto Parts in Lebanon, NY. I was pleased with the quality of work and price. They also provide a number of reproduced parts for XKE's. They have a web site at jfarrellauto.com. another site that has been of great benefit to me is classicjaguar.com. They have pictorials of restorations from start to finish as well as sources of technical assistance. Thanks and looking forward to chatting.
