Hi, I'm not one for posting much but Ilike to read your postings. I have a 59 bugeye that my brother raced in the late 60's ad then it sat in my garage for30 years until I got around to restoring it to original. That didn't teach me anything so I went and bought a 75 Mini to restore, so that is my current project. The Bugeye will be in the family at least another 30 years. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Welcome - did you go back factory original on the Bugeye or racing original?

Welcome...My brother has a Bugeye...He's had it the last 30 years, and theres no doubt it'll be around for many more.

I took it close to factory but I left some racing modifications. Shortened shifter, steering wheel, suspension.

Welcome

I also have a '59 #17570. I have had her for 25years and hope to have for 25 more.
