New Moss Supercharger

Trevor,
Considor the cost of building a motor with the same performance spec's & you'll see how cheap this really is. As long as your motor is in spec, this is a bolt on adder yielding as much as 50% HP & torque gains. All this is at 5-6 lbs of boost. With a low compression motor (8:1 or lower) you could go to 9-10 lbs for street use on 93 oct gas & some ignition enhancements.

The beauty behind this is the car runs on one SU carb. Around town you essentially drive a stock car. Only when you step into it does the by-pass valve close allowing boost to build. You have power on demand, not wasted power. There is no need to drive all day with 9.5:1 compression, loppie cam & over carburetion.

I agree about the benefits of forced induction, but I do not want to pay $3000 for a new kit. I'll wait for other reviews before I decide to shell out the money.

One of the member's of my local club, Gordon Moore, has the Moss SC in his B. I saw it at a show we had a couple of Sunday's ago down in Old Town (Albuquerque). It's an awesome mod if you can justify the $$$.

Please understand that I am in no way endorsing the Moss kit, & I have not seen one only read about it, or haveI spoken to an owner. I can only testify to the technology being well worth the cost when compared to conventional performance enhancments.

It works & it's durable. I have racked up over 30,000 miles with one & I know of a turbo owner with over 100,000 miles between rebuilds.

Does anyone know what kind of turbo set-up we can use? I know some of the newer UK cars have turbos that can be made to fit but I maybe wrong about this.
