New Moss Horn

Has anyone placed the new Moss supplied Flosser Compact Air Horn? Where would be a good location in my 73? What is a good way to attach it? How was the relay hooked up?

If you shop around a little, you can find the same kind of thing in a number of places for quite a lot less money. Maybe even the identical item. I'd start with JC Whitney, Pep Boys, any local auto parts store.

I suppose the usual suspects have some value for parts you can't get anywhere else, but if you use them by default, for things available elsewhere, you'll end up getting thoroughly reamed.

I picked up the same thing a harbor freight as a temporary horn, but I think I'll keep it. It is in my sprite and is easy to wire.

I've had two in the B for a couple of years now. Watch the ads for Harbor Freight. They go on sale a lot for about 30 bucks.

Harbor freight for me also. on my 74 I mounted them in the area in front and below the radiator because it all fits and is hidden. the relay is attached to the top of the passenger front wheel splash panel and as close to the fender as I could get it if that makes sense.

Alan, do you have an oil cooler in your 74? Does it fit somewhere between the radiator and the oil cooler? Or off to the side?

My '67 from the front of the car to back.
Horns. Oil cooler. Radiator.
The oil cooler is on a bracket. Look at a Moss or VB catalogue.

I have stock horns on the Sprite. It might get crowded with two HF "Bad Boy" air horns.
