PS: I found another article about it Here (I think this is the same thing the thread is about?)

Here's a few more pics and specs from the Morgan site.

I'm having trouble visualizing the motor in the front. It doesn't look right to me. The V-Twin of the originals is a major focal point and needs to be done correctly or the whole thing just falls apart. I would like to see some more shots of the front...

Here's a couple of originals with a Matchless motor, which I always thought looked the best.

Even though the originals weren't a show stopper as far as good looks were concerned, but they were unique. I think the new ones are kinda ugly. But that's just me. PJ

you know - they got with that one. Upon closer look that is a rendering- cgi. and the motor is ugly.

Just lets don't get into a bidding war, either with Mickey or, er,,, you know

ISTR from an earlier thread on the new Mog, their website indicated the motor is a Harley-Davidson.

Ah...just the thought of an exhaust note fro a Morgan going:

'Potatoe-potatoe-potatoe-potatoe"....

It's not right, I say!

Next thing you know, the heck's Angels will be switching to Morgan three-wheelers!

Wasn't aware that Morgan was reviving the 3-wheeler. However, putting a Harley Davidson "motor" in a Morgan is akin to putting a small block chevy in an XK-140. Yuck!!! Why not Triumph, Norton, Enfield? Yes, parts of these bikes are now manufactured in the east but at least there is the British connection. Sorry, but I must say it again. Yuck!

I'm with my goomba Frank on this.

Then again, is it any worse than the Fiat mechanicals used in some of the 4/4 models in more recent years? Or the US propane-fueled version of a V8 with origins in the US (B-O-P nee Rover)? or a Toyota five-speed in a TR6? or a great deal of the output of Allard Motors? or some of Carroll Shelby's creations? or ....

Yeah... I was ready to get an Aero-8 but that BMW engine just ruined it. I got a Miata instead.

Yeah, I was thinking of a Bughatti Veron myself, but opted for a Hyundai.
