New Mini paint question

I normally hang out at in the Spridget boards and have no idea whether talking new Minis is sacrilege or not. Here's my question though - is Pepper White the same colour as Old English White? I'm about to get Ms. Triss repainted and had a friend advise that if there is a contemporary colour that can be used, then it can be touched up with a rattle can from an auto supply store rather than a special order. thanks all

I believe that they are a little different.

That's right, pepper white is a tad bit darker than Old English white.

Both very nice colors. I really like the MINI pepper white, tho.

If you cross your original numbers for white and repaint keep the numbers and they can always make a rattle can. There are no contemporary colors as all paint has to be mixed to get the right shade anyway. Whatever you paint it make sure you get the mix number and keep it on hand to make it easier to get a match for future repairs or touch-ups.

Think that's what I'll do - thanks all!
