Edmunds.com had a story about the new Healey hopefully due one day soon. In the same article there was a blurb about someone reviving the MG name. Anyone seen anything to confirm this?

well... that certianly sounds promising for the Healey marque, but I still have my doubts about the MG marque, as MG is still in a state of ... flux ... I guess is an appropriate word. I mean we know Nanjing bought MG Rover... and they've recently signed a 33 year lease on the MG Rover Longbridge plant... but so far the going has been slow...

This short Edmunds article (2-21-2006) pretty much sums up the state of being for MG right now:

Lots of unknowns... Plus like many of the classic American muscle car enthusiasts, many of the LBC enthusiasts will only see the new cars as cars that only share the brand name/car name ... thanks in part to the true ownership of the marque...

I still think it'd be cool if they brought them to North America though... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
