I was down in Guadalajara, mexico the other day and there was an MG dealer next to my hotel. They look like they are well made and they are pretty nice. They wanted about $30,000 for the TF and about $35000 for the TZ, US dollars. Here is a link to the picks!
Orange, the pictures are probably in a database and not just on a normal web page, thus you can't link directly to them. If you will email me 3 or 4 pictures I can put them on my server and link to them that way,

This worked fine for me.....the pictures are great....(the first "X" is the MG logo; the 2nd and 3rd are the actual cars)
I posted a newsclipping here a while ago about MGs coming to Mexico...I guess now it's official! Good looking cars....and *so* tempting to "sneak north".
I know you can't get the MGF in the States at this time; if they are in Mexico does this now mean you can buy them in Mexico and import them into the States?
That's the dealer I'm working with to purchase a new TF & deliver it to a English friend who lives outside Ajijic on Lake Chappalla...that friend will remove the drivetrain & ship my MGTF 'kit' car to the States....dealer's good-to-go on selling to my friend's Mexican wife & has agreed to support me with parts as necessary....we've found a Mexican trucking firm just outside Guadalahara that will put the palletized engine/tranny in one truck followed by the body in another on different bills of laden & different ship dates so it is indeed a 'kit' car! Alabama will license it as a 2004 MGTF Kit Car....USAA will insure it as a 'kit' car!....now, we're just working on how she sells it to me-an Anglo-which will be the hardest part! & may stop the whole process!
