I am a newbie here but not to Bugeyes or Sprites. First car back in Australia was a Bugeye back in 1980 which I kept for 21 years, 10 of those while we lived here in the US. Spurred on by my brother buying another Bugeye back home and restoring for his son, I purchased a very original Bugeye restoration project back in 2010, then another Sprite, a'68 MkIV as a onor for a Sebring fastback project, then another Bugeye shell for Mk II transplant (from 2 rust buckets I could not resist because they were close by and cheap !), then a almost finished bugeye that will be for sale soon and most recently a Bugeye in Reno destined for my brother in Australia ! Way to many projects ! As Drooartz has stated, it is an addiction, I think maybe a disease !:highly_amused:

Man, The "Bugeye Bug" really bit you hard!!! I had a stock `59 Frogeye, 948cc about 4yrs ago. I like "Frogeye vs Bugeye". It was a fun little toy but I did`nt like sticking my head under the Bonnet. I always was thinking; "What if this thing ever fell"?!?!?!?!? "OUCH"!!!
