Hello; My name is Wayne I am a new member and may not be posting this correctly.I am restoring a 1971 TR 6 barn find.It sat about 90% disassembled for 23 years until I bought it.I already have a 1974 Fiat 124 Spider(done) and a 1981 Alfa Spider the Alfa is not done yet.I may need a little help with this one as I never did a Triumph before.I am a heavy diesel engine mechanic with 35 years experience.Currently the trans has been repaired and new gaskets/seals as well as the rear. The suspension was sand blasted as well as the frame, all rust repaired and Por 15 painted. It is nice to meet all and get help.

Thank you Wayne

Hi Wayne, and welcome to the asylum for car nuts!! You'll find a lot of help and advice here, and among the guys on the Triumph section you fill find people who have been exactly where you are now with their own TR6s.....

Jump in, start posting and good luck with the restoration. There are several Alfaholics among us, as well!

Howdy Wayne,

"Welcome" to "THEE" best LBC (Little British Car) Forum anywhere.

We were sort of neighbors about a yr. ago. I lived in a little town called "Effort" just about 3-4mi. directly south of Pocono Raceway off RT. 115. Nothing personal but "I don`t miss it".

Best Wishes with the Alfa & TR Restorations. Post some pics of the TR in the Triumph Forum as we all "LOVE" pics.

Regards,

Russ
