Hi, I’m Danny Jacob, a new member. I have loved British Cars since I was a young boy reading about them for sale in the Washington Post classifieds many years ago. I drove a family friend’s MGA in the summer of 1963, when I 1st got a driver’s license, and the fascination never died. This month I finally got my 1970 MGB restored and back on the road… a long story that began when I bought her after getting out of the army in 1971, reluctantly selling her when the kids came along and miraculously getting her back 29 years later. Today I write the Lugnut, the club newsletter for the Piedmont British Car Club which meets monthly in Statesville, NC. Our members, who drive British and European cars of all types, live throughout northwestern NC. The club website is piedmontbritishmotorclub.com. You can email me at mgb_mga@yahoo.com. Happy to be aboard!
