I am looking for a 1967 Sunbeam Alpine Series V. I haven't decided if I will restore it to original or update it with some more current technology. I have previously owned a 1978 Triumph Spitfire (bought new)and a 1977 MGB, so I have some experience with british sportscars.

That '67 Alpine is one of my favourite years.
Unfortunatley, many Alpine become "Algers", or, more correctly, unfinished Algers that never get done and then get scrapped.

If you can find a nice, unmolested one, my suggestion would be to keep the modifications down to a basic and reversible level. Decent 4 cylinder Alpines are getting hard to find.
